THE MISSION IS DEVOTED TO CATHOLICS LIVING ON RUSSIAN TERRITORY (AND FORMER USSR), WHO NEED THE TRUE SACRAMENTS AND PASTORAL CARE FROM OUR CATHOLIC PRIESTS.
Traditional Catholic church building in Moscow, raised in the 19th century. The only one Catholic church site in Moscow during Communists' times (and the only one in all Soviet Russia during decades).
The building has been occupied by modernists of the Vatican-II-Church since early 90's., but it doesn't prevent the work of the Catholic Mission in Russia.
After St. Louis' church had been temporary occupied, parishioners stayed true & faithful to the Catholic Church and founded the Oratory of St. Pius V.
Now the Oratory has a patronage of Fr. Alexander Kryssov (under the jurisdiction of Bishop Mark A. Pivarunas, CMRI).
In the photo is an altar of the Oratory with altar cards from the Church of St. Louis (they were put into the trash by the modernists after the destruction of the altar in the 1990s).
